Ingredients

  1. 1 poundeach ground chicken and pork (mince)
  2. 1/2sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
  3. 1/2 tspsalt
  4. 1/4 tspblack pepper
  5. 2eggs, beaten
  6. 1/2 cuponion, chopped
  7. 1/4 cupred bell pepper, chopped
  8. 1/2 cupevaporated milk
  9. 1/2 cupshredded cheddar cheese
  10. GLAZE: 1/2 cup ketchup, 1 Tbsp mustard, 2 tsp brown sugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat 350*.

  2. 2

    Mix meats together with all ingredients except Glaze.

  3. 3

    Whisk Glaze together; set aside.

  4. 4

    Place in loaf pan. Smooth it out. Bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven and pour Glaze over top. Return to oven and bake 30-35 more minutes.

I love to bake sweet stuff, with a bit of savory tasty cooking thrown into the mix. Just good ol’ southern cuisine. Most of my recipes were handed down from my Great & Grand Grannies. If they didn’t grow it or raise it, it wasn’t eaten. My hubby and I have alot of food allergies so it gets challenging sometimes to make things that we both can eat. Neither of us can eat shellfish, which is sad, considering where we live, cuz it’s everywhere! Y’all won’t find any shellfish /saltwater fish recipes here. Some fresh water fishes, maybe. Hope y’all enjoy my recipes!
