A perfectly delicious and festive sweet dish! Fada lapsi is a traditional Gujarati sweet made of cracked wheat (fada or dalia), clarified butter (ghee), Jaggery and flavored with cardamom powder, garnished with sliced almonds and cashews. You’ll love it!

A perfectly delicious and festive sweet dish! Fada lapsi is a traditional Gujarati sweet made of cracked wheat (fada or dalia), clarified butter (ghee), Jaggery and flavored with cardamom powder, garnished with sliced almonds and cashews. You’ll love it!
Steps

Make ingredients ready,after that boil the water.

Add ghee in a pressure cooker.
Add broken wheat and saute on slow flame until Wheat roasts well and becomes a little puffy and light. - 3
Now add cashew almond and raisin chunks and sauté again.
After that switch off the flame and slowly add hot water.
Mix well.
Now switch on the gas,close the pressure cooker lid and cook till 4 whistles on medium flame.
Switch off the gas and let the cooker cool down completely. - 4
After that add the Jaggery and cardamom powder in a crooked broken wheat.
Switch on the gas.
Sauté continuously till jaggery melts well and all the water Burns.
The mixture looks like a lump.
Remove the cooker from the gas.
Give rest to cooling the lapsi.. - 5
Now Fada Lapsi is ready.
Transfar in a serving dish.
Add Cashew almond and raisin flakes.
Offer to the goddess, then take the Prasad.. - 6
Note: The jaggery which I used in a lapsi is a bit dark in colour so my fada lapsi turns a little brown..
But taste wise it's awesome 👍🏻👌
