Ready all ingredients at a place. In a pressure cooker add oil and heat it.add cumin seeds and crackled for 30 seconds. Add chopped onion with green parts and cook for 1 minute.

When onion turn light brown add ginger garlic paste and cook for 30-40 seconds. Add tomato and green chillies.cook again for a minute. Tomatoes turn little soft add turmeric powder, chilli flakes, pepper powder and salt. Mix well.

Add green peas and little amount of water, give a stir and cook on high flame for 2 minutes. The oil has released. Add the soaked foxtail millets.

Add water,chopped coriander and mint leaves. Stir well and pressure cook for 1 whistle on high flame then turn the flame low and cook for 3 whistle. Allow to Release pressure naturally. The tahri is ready. Dish out,garnish with coriander leaves add some ghee and enjoy the healthy tahri.
