Ingredients

10 minutes
2 servings
  1. 2large Fuji apples
  2. 3 tablespoonsbutter
  3. couple scoops brown sugar
  4. couple shakes ground cloves 0.5
  5. tablespooncinnamon
  6. couple shakes nutmeg
  7. pinchsalt
  8. tiny splash lemon juice
  9. 1/4 cupwater
  10. 3 tablespoonswarm water
  11. 2 tablespoonscornstarch

Cooking Instructions

10 minutes
  1. 1

Peel two large Fuji apples and cut out the core. Dice the apples into about one-inch cubes and place them into a small to medium saucepan. Add three tablespoons of butter, a couple of scoops of brown sugar, a couple of shakes of ground cloves, half a tablespoon of cinnamon, a couple of shakes of nutmeg, a pinch of salt, a tiny splash of lemon juice,

  2. 2

And one fourth cup of water. Stir the mixture well and cook it on the stove until the apples start to soften, being careful not to overcook them into applesauce.
    Once ready, remove from heat.

  3. 3

In a separate bowl, mix three tablespoons of warm water with two tablespoons of cornstarch using a fork until completely dissolved to create a slurry.
Pour the slurry into the apple mixture and return it to the stove for a few minutes until it thickens up. Once it reaches a syrupy consistency, remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
