Soak the sabudana (tapioca pearls) in water for 3-4 hours.

Peel and grate the boiled potatoes, then add to the soaked sabudana. Add chopped green chili and mix well. Add rock salt, roasted cumin powder, and black pepper powder, then mix again.

Take some of the mixture in your hand and shape it into vadas (patties).

Shape all the vadas by hand. Heat oil in a deep pan. Fry the vadas in the hot oil.

Fry all the vadas in the same way. Sabudana vada is ready.

Serve the hot vadas with yogurt or chutney.
