Add the guava paste to the water in a pot. Start reducing the mixture to half. Preheat oven to 425° Fahrenheit.

Toast the peanuts and almonds. Season with spices and mix these together.

Add the currants to the guava reduction.

Crush the granolas and mix everything together.

Line two sheet pans with parchment paper. Press the mixture into the pans. Add the cherries randomly on top, so when the mixture is cut there will be at least one cherry on each piece. Put into the oven 45-55 minutes. When pan is cool to the touch put into the freezer for 1 hour.

Mine fell apart. I think I used too much butter, but it tasted so very good. Well if your does, do as I did and put it in a bowl, I hope you enjoy!!!
