Finely chop or grate the onion and garlic, then sauté them in a little oil or lard, as you prefer.

Once the onion is golden, add the cleaned, trimmed chicken thighs and brown them on both sides.

When the chicken is browned, add the milk, sour cream, salt, pepper, oregano, and cumin to taste. Cover and simmer on low heat until the chicken is cooked through.

Once it starts boiling, add the Swiss chard and cook for another 5 to 10 minutes until everything is tender.

That’s it! You can serve the chicken thighs on a bed of Swiss chard.
