Ingredients

  • 1 kgraw mango (totapuri)
  • 1 kgjaggery
  • 1 nutmeg
  • 1/2 tspoon cardamom powder
  • Few saffron strands
  • Pinch of salt

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash, wipe and peel raw mangoes.Cut into pieces. Remove seeds.

  2. 2

    Steam in pressure cooker without adding water.Cool and mash by masher.

  3. 3

    Heat a big pan add this pulp and jaggery together.dissove jaggery.Add nutmeg powder, cardamom powder,salt, saffron strands.

    When jaggery completely dissolves and cook till one thread consistency.Turn off the gas.After cooling completely store in dry glass container.

    While making panha add one tablespoon mixture in vessel and glass of water,pinch of black salt and pinch of cumin powder.Mix well and add ice cubes if you want.
