Ingredients

Serves 5 servings
  1. 1/4 cupbrown rice (40 grams)
  2. 1/4 cupblack beans (40 grams)
  3. 1 pinchsea salt or pink salt
  4. Raw cane sugar, rock sugar, or dates for sweetening, as desired
  5. 5 1/4 cupscooled boiled water (1250 ml)

    Soak the brown rice and black beans for 8-12 hours.

    After soaking, rinse well. Toast the rice and beans until fragrant.

    Prepare the prepped brown rice and black beans. Add them to a plant milk maker with the water. Set to the plant milk mode for 30 minutes.

    When finished, open the lid and pour the milk into a pitcher. Skim off any foam and sweeten to taste.

    Done! The milk is creamy and easy to drink. This recipe is especially good for moms who are breastfeeding.
