Sweetness you can hold....
The festival of Raksha Bandhan is observed as a symbol of duty between brothers and sisters. The occasion is meant to celebrate any type of brother-sister relationship between men and women who may not be biologically related.
On this day, a sister ties a rakhi around the wrist of her brother in order to pray for his prosperity, health and well-being. The brother in return offers gifts and promises to protect his sister from any harm and under every circumstance. The festival is also celebrated between brother-sisters belonging to distant family members, relatives or cousins.
For this special day, I made bundi ladoo for my brothers. Both brothers love homemade bundi ladoo, although they live in India but I still made for them. I will show them through WhatsApp and my sister will tie the Rakhi to them.
I always miss my brother specially on rakshabandhan occasion since after my marriage. I never get a chance to go to India on Rakhi.
Miss you a lot Dear Brothers..😢

Steps
- 1
For the Chashni.. add sugar and water in a heavy bottom pan. Stir continuously till the sugar dissolves and liquid becomes 1 string (thread). Add cardamom powder and mix well. Switch off the gas and cover the pan.
- 2
For the better... Sieve the besan. Add water little at a time and make dropping consistency better.
- 3
Heat the oil on a medium to slow gas. Now take a better and add soda by carb. Mix thoroughly. Take a round hole grater. Add one ladleful better in it. Better will drop in the oil. (See the pic) Fry the bundi for a minute then remove on the kitchen paper. Make all bundi with the same procedure.
- 4
Now when Chashni is a little warm, add the fried bundi in it, mix well so all bundi can soak the Chashni well. Keep it for an hour.
- 5
After an hour you will see the bundi soaked in the Chashni. Now add crushed almond cashew.mix well and start binding the ladoo.. make all ladoo. Place in the dish with Rakhi for your brother. Enjoy..

Note: I didn't put any essence nor artificial colour or turmeric powder for the show.. my bundi ladoos are natural. I made those ladoo for my two handsome brothers on the occasion of Rakshabandhan Day. "Miss you Brothers"💓
