First, mix all the batter ingredients and coat medium thick slices of halloumi.

Cut four potatoes into thick chips.

Blanch the potatoes (put them in cold water and remove right after it starts boiling).

Dry the chips and let them cool down a bit.

Fry until golden brown.

Remove excess oil with paper towels.

Then, fry the battered halloumi, for about 3-5 minutes or until golden brown. After that, remove excess oil from the halloumi.

Serve with some malt vinegar and condiments of your choice.
