Steps

Wash and soak the red rice overnight. Add urad dal one hour before grinding the rice.

Take a mixer jar,add the soaked rice and dal, while start grinding, add Fenugreek seeds, grind into a fine batter.Transfer to a vessel, add salt, mix well. Keep this batter for eight hours to fermentation.

Finely chop the onion, tomato, green chillies, curry leaves and coriander leaves. Keep aside.

Keep a fry pan on medium heat, add oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves, and coriander leaves. Saute till onions turns golden brown. Pour into the batter. Mix well.

Now keep a paniyaram tawa in medium heat, add oil to each mould, pour batter three fourth. Let it cook, flip it other side. Once it turns golden colour, remove from pan.

Transfer to a serving plate. Serve it with kara chutney or any other chutney also goes well. Enjoy the healthy, tasty and crispy red rice paniyaram.
