Steps

Assemble ingredients, wash Poha very nicely in sufficient water and keep aside for few minutes to drain excess water.

In a mixing bowl, add soaked Poha, Sooji, Curd, Salt, Sugar, ginger, chopped green chilli and mix well. Keep aside for 10 - 12 minutes.

After rest, add 1 tbsp Oil into mixture and knead very well. If required add little more Curd to form a soft dough. Then grease palms with Oil, pinch small amount of mixture and then give shape of small small Coin or Tikki.

Now keep a steamer ready, steam the Coins for 6 - 7 minutes. After it is steamed keep aside and allow to cool.

Make purée of Tomato and keep aside. In a heated pan add Oil, allow to heat, add Mustard seeds + Curry leaves and allow to crackle.

Then add Tomato puree + greenchilli + salt + 1/4 cup Water and cook for few minutes. Add Tomato ketchup + Chaat masala and cook further around 2 minutes. Then add the steamed Coins and sauté for 3-4 minutes under low to medium flame.
