Ingredients

30 minutes
6 person
  • 1/4 cupsplit green gram
  • 1/4 cupurad dal
  • 1/4 cupChana dal
  • 1/4 cuparhar dal / toor dal
  • 1/2 cuprice
  • 1 inchginger
  • 4green chilli
  • Water as per required
  • 1/2 tspturmeric
  • 1 tspgaram masala
  • 1 tspcoriander cumin powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/4 cupcapsicum finely chopped
  • 1/4 cuponion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cupcarrot grated
  • 1/4 cupfinely chopped green coriander leaves
  • 👉 For Topping :--
  • 200 gramgrated paneer
  • 1/2 cupcoriander leaves finely chopped
  • 2 tbspchaat masala
  • Oil as per required for toast

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Add split green gram, urad dal, chana dal, arhar dal and rice to a bowl and wash it 3 to 4 times. Now soak it for 5 - 6 hours.

    After it is soaked, drain the water and add it to a mixer jar along with ginger and green chillies. And little water and grind it to a smooth paste.

    Now add turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander cumin powder, salt, finaly chopped capsicum, finely chopped onion, grated carrot and finely chopped green coriander leaves to it and mix it well. Add some water and make the batter little thicker than dosa batter.

    Grease a non stick pan and add a ladelful of batter to it and spread evenly. You can keep the thickness according to your liking. Now top it up with grated paneer and green coriander leaves. Cover it for 2 to 3 minutes. When it becomes light pink, add some oil on top and flip it. Cook it until golden. Sprinkle some chaat masala when it is ready. Prepare all the chilla in the same way.

    Now our very healthy Mixed Dal chilla with veggies are ready for served. It can be served with tomato sauce or mint coriander chutney. It is a healthy breakfast recipe which is really delicious.
