Let’s make Quick, delicious , and protein packed Black Bean burger!

In a pan add Oil. Once it turns hot add cumin seeds and once it turns fragrant add asafoetida, curry leaves, onions and salt to taste. Once onions get translucent add ginger garlic paste and let it cook. Add all the spices and mix well. Keep aside.

In a mixing bowl add cooked black beans and mash it. Add mashed potatoes and mix well. Add prepared Masala mixture and chopped coriander. Mix well and form into patties.

Heat a skillet with oil. Cook patties 3-4 minutes each side until golden brown and crisp.

Toast buns, spread with hot sauce & mayo, add lettuce & tomato,layer the patty, top with onions, cucumber or finish with more sauce & mayo bun on top.

Serve with Fries or potato chips and enjoy.
