Ingredients

  1. 1 lbdry pasta
  2. 24 ozbottle pasta sauce + water
  3. 1.5 lbsdiced chicken or frozen meatballs
  4. 1 lbfrozen broccoli (optional)
  5. 8 ozpackage cream cheese
  6. 1large onion chopped
  7. 2 tspgarlic powder
  8. 1 Tbspdried basil or Italian seasoning
  9. 1 tspred pepper flakes
  10. 1/2 tspcayenne pepper (optional)
  11. 2-3 Tbspolive oil
  12. Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil in Instapot set on Saute. Add in Onion and saute until translucent (about 6 mins).

    Add in chicken or meatballs and all spices and cook until meat is starting to brown. (If using frozen meatballs, pre-thaw slightly in microwave.)

    Add pasta, sauce, and broccoli (if using). Fill the empty sauce bottle with water and add to pot. Mix thoroughly.

    Put the lid on. Using manual pressure, set on High for 5 minutes.

    When cycle is done, let sit for 5 minutes before releasing pressure.

    Release pressure and remove pan insert from Instapot. Cut up the cream cheese into pieces and add to the pot. Cover with a lid for a couple minutes to allow the cream cheese to begin to melt. Gently stir the pasta until the cheese is completely incorporated.

    Serve immediately.
