Prepare the ingredients. Slice the spinach into strips, not too thin. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the spinach and stir so it’s lightly coated with oil. Cover and cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Add the salt and garlic powder, stir, and cover again. Cook for another 3 to 5 minutes, until the spinach is well cooked.

Stir gently, check the seasoning, and serve as a side for grilled meat, fish, or as you like.
