Steps

Smear the Bhetki Fish pieces with salt, turmeric and keep aside

Now take the mustard seeds, 2 green chillies and grind without water.

Now add water to the coarse dry paste and blend it into a fine paste.

Strain the paste with the help of a strainer and keep aside.

Now heat mustard oil in a pan.

Once the oil is hot add the Bhetki Fish pieces. Fry till golden and keep aside.

Now in the same oil add the panch foran.

Once it splutters add the prepared mustard paste, mix well and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Add 4 green chilies to the gravy.

After 5 minutes add the fried Bhetkifish pieces and let it simmer till oil separates.

Once done remove from the stove and serve with steamed white rice.
