Boil kabuli chana with salt in the pressure cooker for 15 min after the first whistle on medium heat.Let it cool.

Heat oil in a karahi,add asafoetida and cumin.Add green chilli and ginger.Saute.Add all the spices and cook for 2 min.Add tomato puree and cook till it releases oil.Add chana with water and mix.Cook it for 7-8 min.Switch off the gas stove.

Steam rice in a pressure cooker,add salt and water and cook.Give it 3-4 whistle on high heat and then switch off the gas stove.

For Palak paneer-- Grind blanched palak in a mixer jar.Heat oil in a karahi,add cumin,green chilli,ginger garlic paste.Saute.Add palak puree and mix.Cook it for 7-8 min.Add all the spices of the palak paneer and mix.Add 1/2 cup water and mix.Cook it for 3-4 min.Add Paneer pieces and cook for 2-3 min.Your delicious palak paneer is ready to serve.

For lassi - Blend curd,water and sugar.Transfer it in a kulhad.Keep it aside.To serve - Take a deep bowl,put rice and chana and garnish it with coriander leaf.Now serve palak paneer in a bowl.Lassi in a kulhad.Serve lachcha pyaz in a small bowl.Enjoy !
