Combine the besan, semolina, sugar, and cardamom powder and set aside. Heat the ghee in a large skillet over medium heat, then add the besan and cook, stirring frequently.

Add the semolina and continue to cook, stirring.

Cook on low heat until the besan releases the ghee and is fragrant and golden.

Once the besan is cooked, mix in the sugar and cardamom powder.

Grease a plate with ghee, then pour the roasted besan mixture onto it. Sprinkle the sliced almonds and pistachios on top and press gently. Let it cool for a while.

Once set, cut into pieces and serve.
