Wash the chicken, then heat a kadai, put oil and add the chicken. Add butter, then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt. Fry the chicken in medium to high flame for 5 minutes and keep aside.

Add onion paste and ginger - garlic - green chilli paste. Saute for 3-4 minutes. Then add tomato paste and salt. Saute for 1 minute. Then cover the kadai.

After 3 minutes open the lid and add spices, fry. Now add fried chicken and cook it with masala for 5 minutes. Another side in a mixer jar add curd, raisins, melon seeds, cashew nuts. Make a smooth paste. Now add into kadai.

Saute it, then add water and cover the kadai. In low flame cook it for 5 minutes. When the chicken totally soft add sugar, stir 1 minutes. Lastly add kasuri methi and cover the kadai. Rest for 3 minutes. Serve with fried rice or paratha or kulcha.
