Boil milk in a pan.

Wash poha. Keep it in a strainer for 15 minutes so that poha gets soft and water is removed.

Let the milk simmer on low flame for another 5 minutes.

Add poha and let it cook in milk for another 8-10 minutes. Now add khand, cardamom powder, cashew nuts and raisins and let it cook till khand dissolves completely.

Switch off the flame and let it cool. Keep it in the refrigerator when it is at room temperature.

You can serve hot or chilled.
