Steps

Collect cashewnuts, sugar, dried rose petals, ghee, rose water and rose food colour.

Keep a kadai fry the cashewnuts for a few seconds and transfer to a mixer jar,grind it. Not fine powder.

Keep another kadai on medium heat add sugar and water, let it melt. It starts bubbles, stirring it continuously. The sugar syrup gets one string consistency, keeping the flame low.

Then add the cashew powder and ghee, mix well for a few minutes.

Now add the rose food colour and give a quick mix,it becomes thick fast. Once it starts leaving the pan, remove from the heat.kaji katli mix is ready.

Keep a thin sheet on wooden board and transfer the katli mix. Press it with your finger tips.Then close with the sheet and roll and spread it like thin spread.

Take out the top sheet and sprinkle the dried rose petals,cover again the sheet, again roll to press the rose petals.

Then take out the sheet completely. Cut into pieces as you wish. Transfer to a serving plate.

Enjoy the tasty rose kaju katli.
