Niramish Paneer is a popular Bengali vegetarian dish made with paneer (Indian cottage cheese) cooked in a flavorful and aromatic gravy without onions and garlic.
Steps

Cut paneer in cubes add oil, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and mix well. Keep it aside for 5 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan, add chopped ginger, cumin seeds and fennel seeds. Saute it for 2 minutes.

Now add tomato puree. Mix and add all the spices mentioned above. Cover and cook until it releases oil from sides.

Now add paneer. Mix and cook it for 5 minutes.

Now add cashew paste, give it a good mix.

Finally add kasturi methi and serve hot with roti or rice.
