Today I made a Filipino style Food for dinner with Alugbati (Malabar Spinach), Giniling (Chicken), Kalabasa (Pumpkin) and it was so flavourful. It’s a thick broth and ideal to enjoy with steamed rice
Steps

Wash the chicken mince, wash the pumpkin, peel and cut into small cubes, wash the Malabar spinach, mince the garlic and chop the onions

In a wok heat oil, add minced garlic, chopped onions and cook till onions are softened, add chicken mince and cook till brown

Add soya sauce and stir for 1 min.

Add pumpkin cubes and chicken broth and cover to cook for 2 mins, stir and cover to cook for 10 mins

Add Malabar spinach and cover to cook for 10 mins, add fish sauce, black pepper powder, salt and stir well. Cover to cook for 2 mins

Add corn flour slurry and stir once, set aside to serve

Serve with steamed rice and enjoy
