Kerala feast Semiya payasam

Take a pan, add ghee and semiya roast it medium to slow flame until golden in color.

Now add milk. Bring the milk to a boil on a low to medium flame. Stir and make sure there are no lumps. Cook till semiya is fully soft cooked.

Now add sugar and Cook on a low heat until semiya payasam turns thick this may take about 3 to 5 minute. Then add cardamom powder, ginger powder and dry fruit and mix well. After two min turn of the flame.

Remove in a bowl and garnish with dry fruits. serve Semiya payasam warm or chilled. Enjoy kerala feast Semiya payasam.
Tips
Add sugar only after the semiya becomes completely soft, otherwise, the semiya will become chewy.
