Egg Shakshuka

Eggs are a great source of protein, which helps strengthen muscles and can aid in weight loss. Eggs also help improve eyesight. I made this egg dish for the first time, and it’s very easy and quick to prepare. Everyone in my family loved it.

Place all the ingredients on the kitchen counter. Finely chop the onion, green chilies, and garlic. Chop the tomato into small pieces. Heat a pan over medium heat and add the oil. Once hot, add the garlic, green chilies, and onion. Sauté until they turn light golden brown.

Add the tomato and stir. Add the tomato sauce. Then add all the spices and salt, and mix well.

Pour in 1/2 cup water (about 120 ml), cover, and cook on low heat until the tomatoes are soft. Once the tomatoes are soft and the mixture is dry, make spaces in the mixture and crack the eggs into them. Continue making spaces and adding eggs as needed. Cook on low heat until the eggs are set. Once all the eggs are cooked, turn off the heat. Your delicious and healthy egg shakshuka is ready.

Transfer to a serving plate and serve with bread or enjoy as a breakfast dish. It turned out very tasty.
