Mix maida, ghee, and salt in a bowl until crumbly.

Boil sugar and water until sugar dissolves. Add cardamom and sesame seeds. Cool completely. Use the cooled syrup to knead a slightly soft dough. Rest for 15 minutes. Pound the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.

Divide into equal portions and roll out thinly. Make small cuts on each piece to prevent puffing. Deep fry on low flame until golden and crisp. Cool and store in an airtight container. Enjoy your Diwali 🪔
