Ingredients

  1. 1 +1/2 cup rava
  2. 3/4 cupgramflour
  3. 1/2 cup curd
  4. 1 glass buttermilk
  5. 1pouch fruit salt
  6. 1 tbspoil
  7. 1/2 tbspgram dal
  8. 1/2 tbspurad dal
  9. 1 inchginger
  10. 2green chilli
  11. 6-7garlic cloves
  12. 1/2 cupGrated carrot
  13. 1/2 cupGrated milky
  14. 1/2 cupGreen Capsicum chopped
  15. 2chopped Red chilli
  16. 1/2 cupchopped Onion
  17. 1/2 cupchopped Cucumber
  18. 1/2 tbspChili Powder
  19. 1/2 tbspTurmeric powder
  20. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  21. Tast to salt
  22. 2 tbspfresh coriander chopped
  23. For tempering
  24. as neededOil
  25. as neededWhite sesame
  26. as neededMustard seeds

Steps

  1. 1

    First, take rava and gram flour in a vessel, add curd or sour buttermilk and water as required and mix well. Then add urad and gram dal to it and mix well and cover it for 1/2 hour.

    Now grind ginger, chilli, garlic in a mixer jar and add it to the batter and mix well.

    Prepare all the vegetables and add it to the batter and mix well.

    Now mix salt, chilli, coriander, cumin powder, turmeric and add its fruit salt and oil and stir quickly. Keep the ingredients for the batter ready.

    Now, put oil in a pan and when it is hot, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and white sesame seeds and spread two to three spoons of batter. When the bottom layer turns brown, remove it and add oil again and add mustard seeds, white sesame seeds and curry leaves and turn it upside down. Fry until the second part turns brown.

    So, the instant mixed veg handwa is ready. It can be cut and taken in a lunch box with curry chutney.

Tips

Green leafy vegetables can also be used and green handwa can also be made.
