Masalebhat is a maharashtrian cuisine mostly made in maharashtrian wedding.Very tasty and full of masala and vegetables like brinjal, potato,or small onion and ivy gourd.

Masalebhat is a maharashtrian cuisine mostly made in maharashtrian wedding.Very tasty and full of masala and vegetables like brinjal, potato,or small onion and ivy gourd.

Take all the ingredients together.

Wash, wipe and cut ivy gourd into slit.Wash rice 2-3 times and drain excess water.Roast all masalas and crush into morter.

Crush garlic and ginger together.Heat a pressure cooker add oil and ivy gourd, masala, cashew nuts, ginger garlic, turmeric powder, chilli powder coriander powder.Saute for two minutes.

Add washed rice and salt.Mix well.Add three times more warm water and pressure cook for three whistles.

Our masalebhat is ready.Put into dish and decorate with freshly grated coconut and coriander leaves. Accompanied by fresh buttermilk.
