Steps

Soak kavuni arisi (or) black rice for overnight.

In a cooker add soaked black rice and add 4 cups of warer, 1:4 ratio.cook for 8-9 whistles in low flame.

After cooked rice gets mushy, add sugar, coconut and pinch of salt,mix until sugar gets dissolved.

Atlast add ghee and cardamon powder, mix it well.

Now kavuni arisi is ready to eat.
Tips
1) Use soaked water to cook black rice .
2) cardamom powder is optional.
