Steps
- 1
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- 2
Add sliced onions and saute until golden.
- 3
Add tomatoes and powdered spices. Cook until tomatoes soften.
- 4
Add okra. Mix well and cook until soft and no longer slimy preferably on a high heat.
- 5
Lower the heat after the okra gets done. Add well-beaten curd and simmer gently for a few minutes.
- 6
Season with salt. Garnish with garam masala along with freshly chopped coriander leaves. And serve hot alongside steamed Rice and Rotis both. Enjoy!
Tips
To keep the Okra from getting slimy, make sure to cook it on high heat and avoid overcooking.
