Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1 cupMango juice (from Kesar or Alphonso mangoes)
  2. 500 mlMilk
  3. 1 tbspCorn flour
  4. 2-3 dropsMango essence
  5. 3 tbsp(adjust as needed) Sugar
  6. 1/2 cupChilled whipping cream

Steps

    Mix corn flour, mango essence, and 2-3 tbsp cold milk until smooth.

    Boil the remaining milk with sugar for 5 min.

    Add the corn flour mixture, stirring quickly to avoid lumps. Boil 2-3 min until slightly thick. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.

    In a mixer, whip the chilled cream lightly. Add mango juice (reserve 2-3 tbsp for decoration) and the cooled milk mixture. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust sugar if needed, then blend again.

    Pour into a serving bowl. Drizzle the reserved mango juice and gently swirl.

    Refrigerate and serve cold.

    Variation: 1. Can be served as mango falooda. 2. Can be served as truffle. Lay Marie biscuit soaked in milk followed by mango chunks and then the mango Delight drizzled with mango juice. 3. Can add mango chunks and some cashews. 4. Can add Rasgulla, but they need to be added when mango milk is slightly thinner so that it can be absorbed in Rasgulla. 5. Can be served with mango/vanilla ice cream.

Tips

Using Kesar or Alphonso mangoes will enhance the flavor of the dessert.
