Heat oil in a kadhai. Add mustard and cumin seeds; let them crackle.

Add chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add chopped dill, sauté for 1 minute, then add salt. Cover and cook until soft.

Add cooked pigeon dal and mix well.

Add crushed peanuts, red chili powder, turmeric, and cumin powder. Mix thoroughly.

Steam for 1 minute, then serve hot with chapati or bhakari.
Tips
You can substitute moong dal for pigeon dal for a different flavor and texture.
