Steps
- 1
First, ready all the ingredients. Chop the garlic as finely as possible. Crush the chilli flakes a bit in mixie.Heat the oil on slow gas.
- 2
Now add in finely chopped garlic. Keeping gas slow, stir continuously and cook the garlic. Note to stir continuously on slow gas only. When colour is almost dark cream switch off gas. Continue stirring. The heat of the oil will redden the garlic further.
- 3
Add in chilli flakes and soya sauce. The gas should be off to avoid burning. The hot oil's temperature is enough to cook the rest of the ingredients.
- 4
Keeping gas off, add in the remaining ingredients. Stir and mix. Keep stirring for 2 more minutes to bring down the temperature and to retain the bright red colour of the Chilli oil.
- 5
Transfer to a clean bowl and cool completely. Fill the Chilli Oil with Garlic into a clean glass jar.
- 6
Store in a cool dark place at room temperature and use this aromatic CHILLI OIL WITH GARLIC as a great taste enhancer in any savoury dishes. Happy Cooking😊!!
Tips
1. Keep gas slow throughout the cooking process.
