Steps

Deep fry the ol kopi & potatoes till golden.

Marinate the prawns in turmeric & salt.

Shallow fry the prawns

Heat mustard oil, add cumin seeds,cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, green chillies, cloves, bay leaf, fry them till the aroma comes out.

Add onion sliced, chopped tomato & kashmiri red chilli powder.Sprinkle little lukewarm water.

Then add the garlic, ginger paste & cook on low flame.

Now add the fried ol kopi, potatoes & stir well.Add salt, sugar,turmeric powder, cook till tender.

Add the fried prawns, mix well.

Add 1 cup lukewarm water, cover & cook for another 5 minutes

Switch off the flame,add little ghee & sprinkle chopped coriander.Serve the delicious ol kopi chingri with hot steam rice.
