Fast caramelized onions, not for french onion soup. Mainly for burgers

Slice the onion thinly

Melt the oil and butte using low heat

After melted throw in the sliced onion and sprinkle the salt into the onion. Turn the heat to high and stir vigorously

After the onion is soft, start to add about 25-50ml water every 5 minutes

After it browns, it's done. But it can be cooked more, by adding 25-50ml water every 2 minutes

After it is brown and all of the water is gone, it's done
Tips
It's for caramelized onions for burger, for making french onion soup, it is better to do it the classic way
