Preheat oven to 200°C (top and bottom heat).

Mix soy sauce, ginger, garlic, honey, and sugar in a bowl.

Mix cornstarch with water until smooth, then add to the sauce and combine.

Heat the sauce in a small pan until thickened, then let cool for 5 minutes.

Pat salmon dry, place in a baking dish, and pour teriyaki sauce over.

Bake salmon for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.

Spoon sauce from the dish over the salmon, garnish with sesame seeds and spring onion.

Serve with rice or noodles and green vegetables.
Tips
For extra flavor, consider marinating the salmon for 30 minutes before baking.
