This scrumptious hare matar ki puri is a speciality of Rajasthan. It is super tasty & can be served at breakfast or as a tea - time snack.

Take fresh green peas in a mixer jar. Add chopped coriander. Add 2 tbsp of water & blend to a fine paste. Remove in a parat / plate.

Add whole wheat flour, maida & semolina, mix very well. Add chilli flakes, ajwain, asafoetida, oil & salt.

Mix & knead to a semi - soft dough.Cover & keep aside for 10 minutes so that semolina will soak the water very well.

Again knead the dough with 1/2 tsp of oil. Make equal size portions from it.

In the meantime heat oil in a pan.

Take a portion of the dough & roll it into 3" diameter circle. Roll all the puris the same way.

Now place 1 - 2 puris in hot oil & fry them golden or they puff up very well. Fryall the puris the same way.

Serve these hare matar ki puri with a cup of hot masala chai / raita / pickles / fresh curds & enjoy your morning with family.
Tips
1) If the size of green peas is big , you can blanch them & use .
