Cover your meat with plenty of salt and cover with lid or plastic wrap and rest overnight in refrigerator. Next day rinse the meat and Cut off any fat and cut the meat to the size chucks you prefer.

Peel and slice onions. Add oil to a pan turn heat to medium high and when oil is hot we want to sear the meat so it’s a little brown. Add paprika and garlic and fry for a few seconds.

Mix flour and water together. Make sure no lumps. When the cubes are slightly brown slowly pour the flour mixture while stirring and you will end up with a very thick paste turn off heat.

Add the beef cubes

Add the water 1c slowly while stirring to make sure no lumps. Then add 1/2c more and stir. The consistency should be as video below. Add the rest of water if needed. It will thicken while you cook longer. Turn heat to low and this should simmer for about 45 minutes. Add the onions and cover to simmer. Add black pepper to taste.

Add Worcester sauce and cayenne (optional) stir every few minutes. Adjust taste as needed. Add dollop of sour cream or unsweetened Greek yogurt if you desire. My husbands first time eating this so I don’t want to have his tastebuds go in every direction 🤭. Add mushrooms with the onions if they are available where you live.

Boil noodles as required and now plate and enjoy your meal. Make it a fabulous day 🥰
