Omena are small fish. they are fingerlings which are mostly eaten by the people around lake Victoria. They are very delicious.
Steps

Wash the omena with hot water then put aside. Add oil in a cooking pot and heat then add onions. Saute the onions for a few minutes then add tomatoes and stir to mix.

Let the mixture cook for 5 minutes while covered till the tomatoes are soft. then add the omena. Stir the mixture then cover it to for 3 minutes.

Then add the milk and salt. cover again and let it cook for 10 minutes.

Remove from heat and Serve with Ugali
