Steps

Sort out the green grams and remove stones and dirt.

Wash and put water to boil 30 minutes in a pressure cooker and 1hr using a stove jiko

Then when soft, in a different pot put 2 tbsp oil.

Add the chopped onions and stir until golden brown.

Add the chopped tomatoes and stir for 3 minutes. Then add 1/2tsp of salt.

Then put in the boiled green grams and continue stirring to ensure that its mixed in all sides

Then add in a little water for soup. Then put 1 tsp of royco in 5ml of water to dissolve.

Then add the royco to the stewed green grams and allow to boil for 5 minutes then serve hot with chapati.
