Ingredients

  1. Crust
  2. 4 ouncescream cheese, softened
  3. 3eggs
  4. 1/3of heavy cream
  5. 1/2 tsp.taco seasoning
  6. 8 ouncescheddar cheese, shredded
  7. Topping
  8. 1 lb.ground beef
  9. 3tsps. taco seasoning
  10. 1/4 cupsalsa
  11. 8 ouncescheddar cheese, shredded

Steps

  1. 1

    For the crust: beat the cream cheese and eggs until smooth.

  2. 2

    Add the cream and seasoning.

  3. 3

    Greases 9"x 12" baking dish; spread the cheese over the bottom.

  4. 4

    Pour in the egg mixture as evenly as possible.

  5. 5

    Bake at 375° for 25-30 minutes.

  6. 6

    Let stand for 5 minutes before adding the topping.

  7. 7

    For the topping; brown the ground beef and drain the fat.

  8. 8

    Stir in the seasoning and salsa.

  9. 9

    Spread meat mixture over the crust.

  10. 10

    Top with cheese.

  11. 11

    Reduce heat to 350° and bake 20 minutes until hot he bubbly.

Sorry couple questions on the directions. I mix the cream cheese with eggs and the heavy cream with the taco seasoning? And which one is the bottom layer?
