I made this sauted sweet corn on the cob just for the family. It's quick and flavourful side dish that everyone enjoys, especially when fresh corn pieces is in season.

I made this sauted sweet corn on the cob just for the family. It's quick and flavourful side dish that everyone enjoys, especially when fresh corn pieces is in season.

Steam the corn pieces in water for 15 minutes, then drain.

Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.

Add the boiled corn pieces and sauté for 2 minutes, turning to coat with butter.

Add chopped spring onions and cook for 1 minute.

Sprinkle black pepper, Spanish paprika, and salt over the corn. Toss to coat evenly and cook for 1 more minute.

Serve warm.
Tips
Dry corn pieces before sautéing for better color. Use a heavy pan for a slight char. Add spices at the end for fresh aroma. Toss gently to coat evenly. Optional: Squeeze lemon juice before serving.
