2 servings
  • 4 piecesMackerel fillets
  • 1/2 tspSalt
  • 1/4 tspGround black pepper
  • 1/2 tspDried parsley
  • 1 tbspButter
  • 4 pieces(for serving) Lemon wedges

Steps

    Wash and pat dry the mackerel fillets.

  2. 2

    Rub salt on both sides of the fish.

  3. 3

    Sprinkle ground black pepper and dried parsley evenly over the fillets.

  4. 4

    Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.

  5. 5

    Pan fry the mackerel until golden and cooked through on both sides.

  6. 6

    Serve with lemon wedges.

Tips

For extra flavor, consider marinating the fish for 30 minutes before frying.
