Wash & soak the rice for 15 minutes.Drain & powder this.

Pulse the scrapped coconut sothat there are no big strands. Add to the powdered rice along with jeera & salt.Rub this mixture in an Urali.set this aside for 15-30 minutes.

On medium heat,dry roast this till golden(keep on stirring sothat it doesn't burn.).While roasting if you have big lumps just break it with your fingers in the initial stage itself.At the end stage if you have big lumps you can pulse it in your mixie and dry roast for a few more minutes to get rid of any moisture content while pulsing.
