Beef & Koorka (Chinese Potatoes)

Marinate the beef with 1/2 tsp turmeric,1 tsp each Chilli and Corriander powders,salt and vinegar.Pressure cook this till done.

Remove the cooked beef from the cooker leaving the stock behind.add the cleaned & cut into bite size pieces of koorka to the stock & salt & pressure cook for a whistle.

Saute the chopped onions in oil.once glossy add the crushed ginger and garlic and the curry leaves to this and saute.

When this starts to brown add the remaining Chilli and Corriander powders to this & saute at medium heat.

Open the cooker & pour only the stock to the above and cook until all the water dries up. Add the cooked beef and koorka to this.

Add the pepper & garamasalas also.cook till the gravy is well coated with the beef and koorka.adjust salt.
