Steps

In a pan, heat oil, add the red onions and saute till it just about goes brown. Then add the ginger and garlic to this and saute till the raw smell disappears. Add the green chilies and saute for 2 mins till raw smell disappears.

Then add the ivy gourd and salt. Mix well. Cook with lid on for 5-7 mins or until the ivy gourd is cooked.

Then add the turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander and cumin powder. Saute for another 2 mins till the raw smell disappears.

Serve with rice or chappathi.
