Ingredients

  • 750 gramsTapioca
  • 3 tspsrice Roasted powder
  • 3 cupsonion Chopped big
  • 2 tspsChopped ginger
  • 2 tspsgarlic chopped
  • 2 tspschilly Chopped green
  • 1 tspcurry leaves Chopped
  • 2 tspscoriander leaves Chopped
  • 1 tspChilly powder
  • 3/4 tsppepper
  • 3 tbspscoconut small pieces
  • 3 tbspsCapsicum Chopped
  • 1 cupcoconut Grated
  • to tastesalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Grate the  tapioca and put into water for 5 minutes. Squeeze   water and put the tapioca into a bowl,then mix with rice powder and salt.

    Boil fish with  little water, salt turmeric powder and little pepper powder and remove all  rib bones.

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves, then add ginger, garlic, green chilly,onion and coconut pieces and saute well.

  4. 4

    Add chilly powder and pepper powder saute till raw smell removes, then add salt,capsicum, boiled fish and  mix well.

  5. 5

    In  a puttu maker put some grated coconut,then fill  with alternate layers of fish masala and tapioca mix and steam it for 5 minutes and  serve hot.
