Ingredients

30 mins
4-serving
  • 6 numbersPotatoes Boiled (medium sized)
  • 1 tspCumin seeds Roasted
  • 1 tspChaat masala
  • 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  • pinchTurmeric Powder a
  • 1/2 bunchCoriander leaves Chopped
  • 1 tbspchillies Chopped Green
  • to tasteSalt
  • . Oil to shallow fry

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel the boiled potatoes once they've cooled and mash them. Take a mixing bowl and add all the ingredients except the oil.

  2. 2

    Make equal sized balls of the mixture. Flatten each ball between your palms a little bit so as to form a round tikki shape.

  3. 3

    Meanwhile heat the tawa and drizzle some oil. Once the oil is hot, place these  prepared tikkis and roast them on medium heat.

  4. 4

    Roast the tikkis on both sides and few drops of oil as and when needed.
